Jackson Park (2018)

We spent a day in Chicago, IL golfing at Jackson Park and South Shore. The courses are planned to be redesigned by Tiger Woods in 2020. The courses sit on the land where Chicago’s famed 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition was held. Throughout the courses layout are remnants of old Chicago. In front of Jackson Park’s clubhouse is a replica of the Republic Statue from the Columbian Exposition. It has old buildings from the exposition on the course, such as the large open air bathhouses. South Shore is smaller but just as interesting. The clubhouse is the former South Shore Country Club where the Blues Brothers was filmed. The course itself has three beautiful holes on the lakefront with views of Chicago’s skyline. The total cost of golfing was $45 per person.
