Great Northwest (2011)

The first great road trip for the Road Warriors (Dan, Matt, Parker), it was a 10 day trip from Friday Aug. 19 thru Sunday August 28 with stops at Denver, Yellowstone, Moscow, Seattle, Mount Rushmore and Minnesota. We left Chicago Friday evening to catch the Rockies game in Denver at 2:10 PM on Saturday. We hit the road around noon the next day for a 12-hour trip to Yellowstone. We got there on Sunday and saw Old Faithful and the Grand Prismatic, two of the crazy, beautiful sites in USA.  Monday afternoon we left for Moscow and to stay with Cornwell for 3 days, mostly cliff jumping and drinking beers. We caught a White Sox game in Seattle and headed to Mount Rushmore. Then we went to Minnesota to see Target Field considered the best new park in the majors. Last, a short 8-hour ride to Chicago. It cost around $280 for gas, lodging, baseball tickets and attraction fees.
